Successful Karazhan

Last night was what I call a successful Karazhan run. And not because we downed 5 bosses. Certainly many might think I was disappointed in not downing Shade or Nightbane first night. A little tough to do when you wipe a few times on any boss in there.

Here's why it was successful. The other Terra Nova team downed 4 bosses. They got to the back door. And on Thursday, they're going to go in and destroy the Curator.

It was a discussion we had on vent last night. The current situation is that one group was completing Karazhan, and the second group was barely halfway through it.

Now after last night, while one team saw a little more progression, both teams are closer together.

Does this mean that my team should be upset? We could do so much better if we kept the same 13 or so people. We could down everything in record time. But what's the point? We all have great Karazhan gear. What's next? Zul Aman in 2 months? No, it's Gruul, Magtheridon, and SSC and The Eye. That's what's next. And 13 people can't kill Gruul.

So I'm extremely happy to see both groups getting to the back door on the first night. Certainly, as we mix and match more, we're going to see less synergy. We may not even down Prince for a week or two. But you know, once we have 2 groups downing Prince regularly, it will all be worth it.
